In 2025 I was awarded the Jerry Nicholson award presented by St. Jude and ALSAC. The Jerry Nicholson Award is given in memory of a St. Jude patient from Riverside, CA, who led campaigns to obtain funding for the hospital in the early 1960's.  This award is presented for exemplary service to the hospital.  Nominees must be 19 years old or younger.  It is a national award, where St. Jude gets nominees from all 50 states.
